A cup of joe. Being thankful for the little things.

Sometimes we don't realize what we have until it is gone. How many times have you felt that way?

Well, it was a Monday, and the first thing I said this morning was we are out of coffee.... I felt like I failed our Monday morning, knowing damn well I could go get it, or I can even grab a coffee on the way to work. But it seemed like it started my Monday a little off.

This is really not a big deal, not even blog post worthy. I'm out of coffee big deal. But it's not that we didn't get our morning joe that matters. It's to be thankful for the little things that add up to be your life.

It's to be aware of what you have right in front of you, it's making sure you don't miss the beauty till it's to late. It's about gratitude, gratitude for the little things, the things we forget are gifts, not privileges. Gratitude can change your life, your mood, you well-being.

It's the small things in life that add up to make your life, so why do we tend to be thankful for the big things instead of noticing the small moments or gifts? Like a cup of coffee.

Try this one out this week, notice 3 little things a day, how they truly add up to make your life and how they really are gifts .How gratitude can make your day and your loved ones. Gratitude is such a simple tool to add into your day, to drive more happiness, more joy and all you have to do is say..

I'm thankful for____________

“Gratitude drives happiness. Happiness boosts productivity. Productivity reveals mastery. And mastery inspires the world”. Robin Sharma
